Keep working on him lol. That sounds like a GREAT idea, by the way. Pizzas made like that are just so amazing.

I am trying to convince my recently retired hubby, that he should build an outdoor, wood burning, brick oven. Not only would it be great for grilled pizza, but for every other thing I use the oven for in the summer. He's not buying the idea -- yet. :)

This has to be one of the best grilling ideas I have ever heard. I love it and I think I might just have to have a little grill off myself. Thanks

Welcome to the Kraftfoods community, johnandrain. What a wonderfully creative idea for outdoor cooking. Thanks. :)

Our summer party (which is a twist on traditional summer camp), features a unique potluck. "Campers" bring their grills and prepare a dish incorporating a particular ingredient or theme for a judged cook-off competition. One of the main rules is that ALL preparation must be done in an improvised OUTDOOR kitchen that we set up as part of camp! The resulting dishes are served to all campers for dinner. We've had really creative ideas...ice cream (made in one of those balls), pies baked on a grill, onion soup, beef & noodles, salad on a stick! The recipes get really creative...and that is HALF of the fun. Dinner is served right from the grills as campers walk from station to station & talk with the "chefs"!
