Hello Kraft Community, we are very excited to share some great news with you. As loyal Kraft Community members we have heard your desire to do more fun things in the community and we are happy to announce in January 2010 we will be making some changes so you can connect and share food ideas in more ways than ever!
We want to let you know we will not be transferring the existing discussions to the new enhanced message boards so if there are discussions that you would like to save please make sure to either print them or copy and paste into a document that you can save to your personal files.
We will remind you again before the transition occurs but wanted to let you in on the exciting news!!

I just found it... Click on Preferences. Your profile should come up. Under your Profile, there will be "Sort Order." Change it to "Oldest First."

Shrike, ( great screen name ) you're cornfusing me just a tad. My usual boards that I frequent run the same way as Kraft's.....that is, bottom to top. What other boards do you post on, BTW?

Or maybe they started appearing that way after I went into 'Preferences' and changed the Sort Order from 'Newest First' to 'Oldest First'. It's hard to say.

I wasn't confused before, but I sure am now! I think imonna go make myself a pitcher of 'tinis. That should help clear things up. That's what my cousin Snadra does when she's confused.. or tired...or bored..or happy...

they are all running from newest to oldest. you have to go page-by page and scroll down to find the origional.

I have to agree with you that Kraft in general has one of the best web sites . they offer so many different options for their users and i am sure that they will get the "bugs out" in time. they have always in the past seem to care what their users want and deliver.

I confuses me as well. A person has to go through so many steps just to post to something even though we're sent an email with the link to it, and we've posted to it before. That just takes a lot of times. It sounds like a lot of bugs to me, or maybe, just the program??

It would also be nice if you could go directly to the second page of postings since you can't read the first posts until you start reading the thread and see that it has 2 pages of responses, click on the 2nd page of responses, and THEN you're finally able to start reading from the beginning.

Maybe, but regrettably, some of us don't have a lot of time, and I think we are just more use to the older ones being first since that's typical of most boards, and we know what's being discussed as we move down reading. The board is new for Kraft, and I love the way the Kraft site in general has evolved with, among other things, their recipes, and our recipe boxes, showing a picture of most things listed just by running our cursor over the title. I think it's one of the nicest I've seen, so I suspect the message board too will evolve over time. There are a few bugs along the way, but I'm sure they will remedy that.

It is very true, this does get consing to some people. Other people prefer sorting this way. Personally sometimes I like to search by number of posts so I can try to answer the people without replies. Maybe this should be a user selectable option..maybe

That works much better for me as well. This way is very confusing. I would imagine whatever program they are using will allow for that change, but that's just a guess based on most programs since I'm not sitting in their seat. I was very excited to see Kraft now has this message board. I have loved and used the Kraft site just about as long as I've had a computer, and have made many of the recipes, either in whole or in part. Now we have a means of telling Kraft how we feel about it, and echanging some ideas along the way
