Sparkpeople is a great resource. Of course, the best resource for loosing and maintaining weight loss is a registered dietitian who can work with you one on one or in group sessions- to teach you permanent life style modifications to get the weight off once and for all. Exercise is also important. Find a dietitian near you at www.eatright.org. (Many insurance companies are now reimbursing the visits. Also, some YMCAs or health clubs employ dietitians as well. BE SURE the person is a registered/licensed dietitian with the RD credentials).

Have you considered tracking your steps? My fitness trainer recommends trying to get 10,000 steps a day. You can buy a pedometer for about $5. The price is higher if your pedometer has more bells & whistles.
Good Luck & Great job!!!

Do you belong to a gym? Check out www.bodybuilding.com. That site alone should be motivation enough.
Take up group classess and change your routines so that you don't get bored. I wouldn't suggest to reply on people for motivation, this has to come from within you. Support maybe but not motivation. If you find it hard to be around people who are not interested in sticking to a healthy lifestyle, move on and keep searchig for those who are, you will find them at gyms, hiking, camping, whole goods stores, etc. Check out meetup.com, it may be of help.
Good luck.

Hi Cheryl, Great job on losing that much weight. I have fibromyalgia. I have recently lost 60 pounds with slim4life. I still have 15 pounds to go. I am using their diet plan, but none of their metabolizing herbs or carb blockers, etc. I tried, but they left me feeling unsatisfied. My food didn't taste good and I really didn't want to take them anyway. I spent a lot of money on them and the program, so I decided to exercise. I exercise Monday through Friday. I started doing 15 to 30 minutes and have worked up to 45 minutes most days. I use a couple of DVD home workouts called Walk Away the Pounds and Walk at Home with Leslie Sansone. You can do a little or a lot. They key is to get moving. They are low impact. She has several at walkathome.com. I am feeling great. I no longer hurt from the fibro. I think it's because of the exercise and the no sugar/low carb diet. I'm eating very healthy and I feel good about it. I pray you continue in your success. I think the key for me is to continue exercising regularly and eating healthy for the rest of my life. I do have a fear of regaining the weight, but I think with my previous resolve I can keep it off.

Great job with your weight loss and your commitment to keeping it off. I think one of the things you need to do is find a new support group. You may truly care about the other people in your group but if they're not committed then you are at risk of losing your focus and drive. Keep them as friends by all means...but find a group who is as dedicated as you are.
Good luck and best wishes...

Hello, My name is Cheryl, and I have a problem. As of January of 2007 I've lost 150 pounds. I did it with my doctor managing me, and lots of hard work. I still need to lose another thirty or more pounds.
My problem is this. I can lose weight well. But I can also gain weight back again. I'm at the age that I can ill afford to return to over three hundred pounds, actually no one should ever get that heavy, but I suffer from several things like arthritis and lupus that cause my joints to hurt all the time as it is, so the extra weight just is not acceptable.
I have joined a weekly group, and they are nice but none seem committed to losing weight. The weekly weigh in is good, but I need more...any ideas? Thanks!!
