That sounds very tasty. You could have also added some pepperoni and BBQ sauce and run it under the broiler. I'm going to try it over the weekend. Thanks for the tip!

Sad to say we don't have a bakery in our town, the closest thing we have is a super Wal-mart but that's a whole nother subject. I ran through there the other day and saw Asiago bread, OH BOY!!! I love Asiago, so what the heck, I'll try it. I was making stuffed jalapenoes with cream cheese w/ chives and little smokies, had left over creem cheese so I spread it on the bread, sliced lengthwise in half, and sprinkled some garlic powder and 3 cheese crumbles on top and oh my, it was so good !!

This afternoon here at Mother Hubbard's, the cupboards were bare, so lunch would be a can of refried beans. As they were nearly heated on the stove, I was desperate for something to give them some zing, so dropped little bits of garden vegetable cream cheese onto them. Once these bits were warm, I gave it all a swirl with a spoon, but leaving the bits mostly intact. Turns out that the veggie cream cheese was a nice and tasty surprise!
Mmm i love refried beans, and Garden vegetable cream cheese happens to be one of my favorites. Thanks i will try that.

That's because it has to ferment for awhile. Otherwise, it's very bland.

It hasn't gotten very good reviews here, so I would stay away from it.

One more recipe from me today. HAHA Cheese Cake - takes a little time and a little thought but well worth it.
crust first. 1# box graham crackers- crushed. 1 stick of melted butter. line 9X13 with this. ( save a little to put on top of cake)
1 box of lemon jello,3 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 cup boiling water. cream together 1- 8 oz package cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, add to lemon mixture. whip 1 can milnot, fold into the mixture. pour into the crust and sprinkle top with reserved crumbs. chill. this is a very light and wonderful cheese cake. yummy!!!

I don't know , but it's not wrong !! I love it in mine -- I add the cream cheese, sour cream and butter to mine, and if it still needs some more liquid, then some milk. In laws have no clue how I make them, but they have me do them for all our holiday get togethers every year. Also add some garlic powder, chives, finely minced, salt and pepper. But NEVER TELL THE IN LAWS !!!!

I could have sworn I posted this before 0 In fact I know I did. I said, "I love mixing philly creamcheese with mashed potatoes"
I know it may sound odd but did it really deserve swiffering? What board rule did I break?

I have made pickle rolls for years. Always an empty plate when I take to parties. Spread softened cream cheese on a slice of deli ham. Place a pickle spear on top of cream cheese. Roll ham up around pickle. Leave in Refrig. for a couple of hours. Slice and serve. P.S. Be sure and drain pickles first. Pat ham dry with a paper towel too. Makes everything stick better...
