I have located the bacon package. It is a Tyson product and comes in a red resealable bag. Its kept at room temperature with recommended, but not required, heating instructions. They can go directly on the sandwich or you can just roll them up and eat them like fruit roll-ups. Each one of the preservatives that is smothered on the bacon is delicious.

Are you serrrious? A product that tastes like bacon without having to do any cooking or heating up? Its a premium product with a ton of upside. A snack at the tips of you fingers.

Can you imagine how many chemical preservatives need to be used to keep bacon at room temp?
Who would eat that kind of thing?

Is that the same as 'precooked bacon'? It's been around for a few years now. Whatever is in our store is pretty much the same brand as the bacon. I find it near the packaged pepperoni slices for pizza. I'd ask your grocer or the stock boy, as every store is a little different.

Has anyone come across what is now available as "Sandwich Bacon" I noticed it in a store last week in an aisle and am now unable to find it or who makes it. It comes in a small box and is kept at room temperature where you can simply pull it out of the box and place it on a sandwich. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
