As annoying to watch as she is (IMHO), Rachel Ray's books: 30 Minute Meals work great. Her low carb is one of the best. They are easy and kid friendly, and worth picking up. When I'm really stressed, I make breakfast for dinner. That's always a hit.

Run, do not walk, to the shopkraft section and get your hands on the Dinner On Hand cookbook. No, I am not a Kraft employee and I do not play one on the Internet. I'm just a satisfied customer.
A friend bought it and then bought one for me. We call it the DOH! cookbook, as in "Doh! Why didn't we think of doing that?" LOL
There are tons of very tasty recipes in the book that can be made with ingredients most of us have on hand. Most recipes that we have tried take less than 5 ingredients and less than 10 minutes of my time to prepare them. Each of us feeding a family of four heavy eaters easily so there's plenty of food for the family or for the leftovers.

Hi,
I have taken hamburger and chopped onions, season them with salt, pepper, onion Powder and Garlic Powder fried it up and a can of cream of mushroom soup a little water add cooked shell noodles (or whatever you prefer) add a can of whole corn and there ya go. I also do it with tomato soup and have sunflower seeds (shelled lol) for sprinkling on top. add rolls or a salad and your done.
Hope it helps
Gail

If you do an advanced recipe search you can look for recipes that are done in 30 minutes or less.
