I have many logs of garlic cheese left and might be persuaded to make a trade if the offer is right. Somebody in the other thread is offering her college kid so your potential offer would have to at least match that.

Happy bidding!

:_|I was so upset to find out Kraft discontinued the rolls of garlic cheese--no cheese grits, no Spinach Madeline and countless other holiday recipes from southern kitchens! Please bring it back, even if it's only regionally sold and seasonally available! Please!

Thanksgiving wasn't the same without garlic cheese. I made my family's traditional broccoli casserole and a cheese ball. Both call for garlic cheese. The broccoli casserole was not nearly as good and my cheese ball has always been fantastic, it wasn't edible without the garlic cheese. PLEASE GIVE US BACK OUR GARLIC CHEESE, PLEASE!!! If not all year long, at least sell it as a holiday specialty food. WE NEED IT!

Kraft has become the SCROOGE for my holidays!! I am so very disappointed that you discontinued your Garlic Cheese. This is a staple for our Broccoli cheese casserole. My whole family, as do many other families, look forward to eating this every year. Please, Please bring it back!!:_|

Another corporate blunder as far as I am concerned. I wonder if it is even possible to count the number of good recipes I have that specify GARLIC CHEESE roll as an ingredient. Shame on Kraft Foods.

My family has enjoyed "Easy Hot Peas" from the Southern Living Cookbook for over twenty years. Of course, it calls for a roll of garlic cheese. This has been one of my favorite recipes for pot luck meals -- really surprises everyone -- and is delicious, both the day it is prepared and the next days. I am so frustrated that Kraft has chosen to discontinue this product without giving us an equivalent item to purchase. Has anyone there ever tasted "Easy Hot Peas"? Perhaps if you had, you would understand.

I also am missing the garlic cheese roll for my grits recipe. I called Kraft about a month ago and asked Customer Relations if there was a good substitute for the product and I have never heard back from them. Surely the test kitchens can come up with a substitute and give it to Customer Relations, upload it to this website, and otherwise get it out to all of us who have depended on it for years.

Come on Kraft. I'm really disappointed in you. I am like the person who said if the recipe calls for a garlic cheese roll, that is the only thing that will do. Please post the correct recipe for us so we can at least make our own. You've really messed up a lot of recipes. I'll look for the Parker brand and I'll buy it if I can find it. I would have even ordered the garlic cheese from you over the internet. A friend of mine found the last 3 for me this summer and I've already used them all. I have none left to use for our cheese grits now and my sister has none for her broccoli casserole. Bring it back, please. I'll pay more for it and I'm willing to order it.

I know it's been a while since you posted this, but I just found the Cheddar Galic Roll cheese in the grocery store, but it is made by Parker.

There's a post on this thread on how to make your own garlic cheese...

Hope it helps.
