i asked for it to be brought back for the simple reason tht id did offer some help to the 'kids in need', so to speak..nothing to be confused about.. if my 'outcry' offended or confused you. sorry.;\

deleting the entire thread was silly. deleting the unnecessary posts was all that needed to be done..

bogus or not, that thread could help others who are somewhat challenged in the kitchen.

Oh Me, I have always been confused when posts are deleted, for whatever reason, and then because of an outcry, they are brought back. I read the original post about kim ber's kids doing ALL the cooking-for the last !10 Years! (oldest too young to have been "cooking" for 10!! years)- in a microwave or crockpot and mom & dad going out to eat. I MUST say that I thought it was bogus from the start (TOO VERY sad, had it been true). She decided she needed more "ME" time, PUH-Leeze... Did I miss something, am I being too simple??? I didn't believe it from the start...
OR, didn't WANT to believe because it would be just too very awful for those kinds.. I'm going w/it being a scam...

Good morning everyone,

We removed the tread because it seemed to be changing from a helpful, friendly one to one that was becoming counterproductive. Upon reflection, the majority of the tread was indeed helpful and did have good suggestions. We're in the process of recovering the posts, but it may take a short while for them to be restored to the boards.

Thanks all,

Pam

I will bravely step in and say.... I don't know. It was here last I posted, and sounds like it turned very sour in the time I was gone.

I will escalated this up to see if we can get a better answer.

AlainaB9, I don't think it was you. I HOPE she was pulling our leg. It is too sad otherwise.

While I agree that there were great ideas for ovenless chefs on the last thread, I thought it important to point out that there are discrepancies in her story. Truly, I believe she's pulling our collective leg.

If my post got the thread deleted, I'm sorry. I was blunt but I didn't think I was mean...:(

If my memory is correct, there were a few brutal posts from people who appeared to have joined just to post on that thread. I agree there were some ideas in the thread that should be saved in case there is another "oven less" person that would like to have turkey. Discarding the whole thread seems unwarranted.

ok, this is one for her kids.....who are preparing thanksgiving dinner...on their own, may i add...

there have been several helpful comments on this post in order for her kids to be able to prepare a decent dinner, and the entire thread has been deleted..WHY???? maybe because of the 2 negative posts? OK... DELETE THOSE POSTS!!!!! NOT THE ENTIRE THREAD!!!!!!!!

the last post was from a long lost friend, ALAINAB9 whom we havent seen for months.

MODERATORS.... you DO have control over these boards. FIX THIS!!!!!!

Where did this thread go? and why? and PULLEASE do not give us an automated response..

thanks in advance!!

your community...
