This is a staple in my house - we just love it! and the sausage literally melts in your mouth!!

Sausage, Peppers & Onion Pasta
1 onion, sliced
1 green pepper, sliced
1 pkg. (5-6 links) sausage (I use mild & remove casings)
1 jar (24 oz) sausage flavored tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
Salt, pepper & garlic powder
1 lb. cooked pasta

In the slow cooker, place the onion & pepper with sausage on top.

Stir together tomato sauce & water and pour over sausage. Sprinkle with salt, pepper & garlic powder.

Cook on low 7-8 hours OR high 4-5 hours. Slice up each sausage, and with the sauce, serve over cooked pasta.

I always serve with garlic bread & a salad

The easiest and fastest recipe I know (and one of the best!) is Carbonara.

You need:
- bacon cubes
- eggs
- and pasta of course!

Cook the bacon cubes with some oil.
When the pasta is ready add the bacon to the pasta.
Then add the eggs (2 eggs for 500 g of pasta) and mix very well.
if you like add some pepper and cheese.
Your Carbonara is ready!

We recently had this very simple yet good casserole!

Mix together
medium shell pasta, cooked
1 lb ground beef, browned
1 tablespoon chili powder - or to taste
1 jar spaghetti sauce

Heat in oven until warm

I make a similar recipe with a Thai flavor. I no longer have a written recipe (if I ever did, so the flavors are a bit to taste). This is basically for 4-6 and there should be leftovers

Stir fry in about 2-3 tablespoons hot sesame oil and about the same amount of normal cooking oil
1 bunch of green onions sliced with some green
red bell pepper chopped (you can use green)
1 cup or so of shredded carrots
4 garlic cloves minced or thinly sliced
1 small head of cabbage -- I use bok choy and savoy mostly, but regular cabbage works fine -- thinly sliced

When cabbage is just crisp tender, add:
1 package imitation crab
Cooked, peeled shrimp (optional)
Szechuan or teriyaki cooking sauce to taste

Mix with cooked linguine. I usually cook about 2/3 of a box.
Top with about 1 cup of chopped fresh cilantro

If you use both hot sesame oil and szechuan sauce, the dish is quite spicy. You can use regular sesame oil and teriyaki sauce for a much milder but still flavorful dish.

This dish makes a ton and if you add shrimp it makes it nice enough for company.

Yeah let me know if you like, my family made it up so I always like feedback on it and I mean it is just a staple for us and I entertain with it by putting it in the little chinese take out boxes you can buy everywhere now. I just costs so little and makes so much but I actually just started adding the brown sugar and it made 10 times better than it already was lol:-x

I fix this with left over spaghetti, but you could use any pasta. Heat the spagetti with a little water, garlic powder, and butter. When it is hot add parmesan cheese and heat untill melted. I really love this. I have also made pasta salad. Also check out " food and family archive" for recipes.

Ok this is a recipe my whole family loves, we eat it all the time and it makes a ton and it is good even cold out the fridge lol. You can half the recipe or double it easy, I cook for 7 so this is what I use but you will want the leftovers lol

One family pack of boneless skinless chicken breasts(6 or so breasts) cut into bite sized pieces
One large onion chopped finely
One green pepper chopped finely
1-2 tablespoons brown sugar (based on taste)
1 cup or so soy sauce (could be more or less)
Garlic salt and pepper
Large box of spaghetti (thin or regular)

Saute green pepper in a little butter or oil any kind, add onions and cook down till real soft then add all the bite sized chicken bits. Add pepper and garlic salt to taste (we like it a little spicy so we add extra pepper). When chicken is cooked through add soy sauce and deglaze pan with it. Add one tablespoon brown sugar and taste to see if it is spicy enough, sweet enough, garlicy enough, it is really to your taste, add more brown sugar, or soy or spices if need be. Boil pasta and add pasta and chicken mixture with sauce all together in a big bowl. Toss and add more soy if too dry. This dinner is awesome and I promise everyone even kids will love it, it makes a ton and is super left over . Let me know if you try it

Fry sliced sausage (keilbasa or smoked), bell pepper strips, and onion strips. Add a can of diced tomatoes. Season with garlic, etc. Simmer and serve penne.

I like to boil whole wheat pasta with minced garlic and sliced button mushrooms then add frozen shrimp during the last 3 minutes of boiling. Drain. Toss with EVOO and lemon pepper.

I made this recipe a few weeks back and it came out really good.

Baked Penne
8oz penne pasta
1lb ground beef
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/4 cup chopped onion ( my fave is the purple one)
1/2 tsp italian seasoning
28ish oz jar spaghetti sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella

Preheat oven to 350. Cook the penne per directions, but undercook slightly. Brown ground beef, garlic and onion. Sprinkle with italian seasoning and season with salt and pepper to your liking. In a bowl, combine meat mixture, penne, spaghetti sauce, and a 1 1/2 cups of cheese. Turn into a greased baking dish (I used an 8x8) and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 45-55 mins until center is bubbly.

I adore cheese, so I often add more than the recipe calls for. This is also really easy to double. Personally, I thought the leftovers the next day were as good as on the first, which is something I can't say about some things I've made lol. Hope you enjoy!

Em

I made this as a side dish the other night for salmon:

Egg Noodles with Dill, Butter and Peas

Boil and drain 2 cups of egg noodles - do not rinse. Add in 1/4 cup melted butter, 1 cup of cooked peas and 2 tablespoons dried chopped dillweed. Serve while still hot.

I cook up egg noodles, drain, then add cream of chicken soup, a can of chunk chicken, cajun seasoning and fresh cut chives chopped up. It is a family favorite!

> Do you mean ranch dressing mix or liquid ranch
> dressing?

Ranch dressing in a packet. I have a special cupboard in my house for packets of seasonings and dressings. They stay good forever and I always have a quick and easy way of adding flavors to my meals.
