Alaina, either you are testing the drink calendar or the swiffers have been here already. Must have been a good one. Sorry I missed it.

I don't think she is depriving her child of pizza. I believe if you reread the post she simply states her child does not like pizza. Either do I. Guess what, everybody? Kraft foods can do it all for you and you alone. It is easy to buy the brown rice instead of white and if you do not like corn, omit the corn. Sometimes you have to chose between being health conscious and money conscious. Sad but true.

I think it is sad to deprive 4 year olds of pizza.

Have you tried topping it with anchovies? Four year olds love anchovies!

Your 4 year old kid doesn't eat pizza? What does (s)he prefer, caviar and toast points?

I don't expect everything to be as healthy as I want. I substitute brown rice for white, add veggies when needed, etc. I believe Kraft came up with a great concept and of course, their trying to promote their products. As for the pizza, they're just trying to say "hey, take the night off from cooking and make it easy on yourself'. I just search Kraft for a recipe idea and make if for that night instead because my 4 yr old doesn't eat pizza. I think it's all in how you see everything - the glass is half full or half empty. If you don't like the meals but like the concept, make constructive and positive suggestions to fix the problem instead of bashing the idea.

I do believe Kraft's answer to this is the Healthy Living Tab - you enter some basic info about yourself and it comes up with a weekly food plan (includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner) based on your needs.

These receipies are a good start for me, yet not low calorie enough for what I really need. I am trying to cook smaller portions now for two and more healthy as we age. I wish you would have a section for cooking lite and healthy.

I must have really missed something. The Express Checkout, not once claimed to be more health conscious than anything, if at all - nor did it declare cost savings.
If we are considering ourselves thoughtful of our health - can we not learn to also expose a healthy mind. If this Express Checkout doesn't allow a reader to go to the store and purchase items once to cook for the week {as it says} then don't use it. I've never had a cookbook or menu to list multiple items to use for a variety of meals that actually is easy and edible until now. I have food allergies and I use common sense to alter the meals, which is so far better than preparing the same ten dinners all month.
If you can make suggestions, try:
negative approach - your idea may be unique, but it's bad.
positive, educated approach - provide a menu for a more healthy lifestyle, a special diet..diabetes, low-sodium, high fiber, budget....etc.
If we were all in the slightest perfect, we would all cook brilliantly 3 to 5 times a day, without repitition, quickly, affordably, etc., etc., etc. 28 to 31 days a month.
Good Job Kraft, I look forward to even more from a site that offers so much to us ultra peticular critics.

Yes, I could modify the recipes as I see fit, but that misses the point, in my mind. I think it's misleading at best to say "Hey, eat out of one grocery bag for a week" and have it filled with relatively unhealthy food that requires additional items just to get enough fruits and veggies. Is it healthier than eating fast food or chain restaurant food daily? Yes.
I just wish they'd go the extra mile and offer menus that manage to be nutritious, delicious, and convenient. It's very possible; I do it myself on a regular basis. I was hoping to be able to use express checkout to give me some new ideas and so far have been extremely disappointed.
