You must have gotten our weather, sorry! We had terrible weather the day before, but it moved out just in time to have a nice, sunny Easter.

My DH loves rabbit. I'm not that picky but so far I've resisted the temptation.
It was only the two of us and we ate salmon. It was a miserable cold and rainy day. I felt sorry for the local kiddies and their egg hunts.

Welcome to the community, anaismontes! You put it in the fridge and it still didn't set up?
Did you do a lot of licking of the spoon used to stir it? Saliva can break it down. Or maybe did you use soy-milk or some other non-animal milk or skim milk? Those can cause problems too.

MakeLifeDelicious - here is the recipe for Overnight Sticky Buns. I'm getting ready to start them in a few minutes.
Overnight Sticky Buns
1 pkg. (24 oz.) frozen dinner rolls *
1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) COOK and SERVE Vanilla or Butterscotch pudding - do not use instant variety
1/2 C. Brown Sugar
1 T. Cinnamon
1/2 C. Butter, melted
Nuts or raisins, if desired
Directions:
1. Butter 12 C. tube pan (or 13x9 baking dish).
2. Line pan with raisins or nuts (if desired)
3. Arrange rolls over nuts.
4. Combine pudding mix, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
5. Top rolls with brown sugar mixture
6. Drizzle butter over rolls
7. Place in cooled oven overnight (at least 10 hours).
8. Bake 20 - 25 minutes @ 350 F.
9. Invert rolls to cutting board or serving dish.
*The only brand I've found that works for these sticky buns is Bridgford brand ParkerHouse style. They are sold in a yellow and red bag. Do not try the Pillsbury dinner roll style - they do not work. Bridgford brand is a little hard to find in my area, but the higher-end grocery stores carry them for about $3.50 / bag.

It's my turn to do Easter dinner and it's more or less a potluck dinner. I'm doing a rice pilaf, smoked salmon, and roasted vegetable (a medley), and my sister is bringing roasted lamb, and an appetizer. For my 3 nieces, ages 10,11,12, I'm trying an Aquarium jello dessert recipe I found on the internet with gummy worms and fish. We look forward to it though I'm a bit anxious as I usually am when I have to do dinner.

LOL!!! That reminds me of a couple of weeks ago, my aunt called and said "What kind of meat would you like to have for Easter? I'm taking a poll to see what to bring."
I promptly answered, "Rabbit."
Yes, I'm evil. lol

We have a large extended family (about 20 people!) and we all gather at one house, each family contributing something to the Easter meal. This year we are having roast chicken, but in the past we have had turkey and ham. We usually have a lot of fresh seasonal vegetable side-dishes such as brussel sprouts, asparagus, squash, salads, etc. We serve light, fresh fruit themed desserts like strawberry shortcake or triple berry trifle. My mom, though, always has to bring an Easter cake decorated with jelly beans and other Easter candies.

That sounds delicious, I will be doing a brunch as well? Do you have the recipe for your hashbrowns? I have never made them- I have a few recipes - but they are very different- not sure which one to go with.
I will be serving Mimosas as well as Bellinis (Champagne and peach nectar) they are super easy and delicious. I garnsih each glass with either an organge slice or peach slice. I make a mocktail version for the kids with 7-up instead of champagne.

Have you tried making baked macaroni and cheese in a muffin pan? I have seen it done and makes sense when serving a large group, especially with kids. I am going to give a try this year.

I am making a brisket for Easter dinner, along with baked macaroni and cheese, deviled eggs, and some kind of vegetable dish (I haven't decided on that one yet).
