Its probably the same thing you went to, they had local businesses set up in booths and then there was a show at 7 where one of their chefs cooked several different items from one of their magazines. I had a lot of fun!! We got free samples from the local businesses, mostly food and beauty products, and the show was great. Chef Dawn was funny and energetic, and I learned a few tips for the kitchen. They gave away a bunch of stuff, gift baskets, tote bags, floral arrangements, and each dish that she made was given away plus the Taste of Home Entertainment dish it was on (that's their new home entertaining line). It was fun, and a good reason to be out with the girls on a Monday night!

Beef fajitas with grilled onions and peppers, sliced avacado, chopped tomato, shredded cheddar/jack cheese, sour cream and salsa. Although, my daughter prefers only to eat the tortilla with chopped tomato - nothing else.

Grilled chesse with Hidden Valley Spicy Ranch dressing and croutons on the side. The salad dressing is great, I just don't eat salads.

we had chicken fettucini alfredo, a green salad and cheese sticks, not the usual mozz sticks. it's a paula deen recipe made with flour, butter (of course), cheese, salt and cayenne and baked. they were great dipped into the alfredo sauce!!! for dessert, we had a key lime tart.

Last night DH and the kids had pizza--it was their turn to cook--and I had a big greek salad with imitation crab, feta, grape tomatoes, kalamata olives, red onion, mixed greens, and olive oil and vinegar. Oh, and roasted slivered almonds. Tryin' to lose the baby weight......

We had a "Pot Luck" at Church yesterday, and it was really good , so we had lots of choices, . Someone made Baked Ziti with meat balls, and it was really good. I tried a little of everything, accept the chicken wings, had chicken the night before.
