prissy168 that dinner made me crave fall, but I'm not ready for summer to be over.

Chicken Artichoke Bake, fresh tomatoes and fresh cukes.
Now I have tomatoes and cukes coming out of my ears--put up 60 jars of tomato products (salsa, marinara, sp. sauce, chili sauce) already.

I fix a pot of stew with cornbread, salad and chocolate cake. It was a very nice cool and raining day in Texas, which we need very badly.

Last night i had tomato basil marinated chicken on the grill with cheesy potatos and a salad  Mmmm.

Last night I cheated and we went to Logans Steakhouse with some friends  Had fried mushrooms as an appetizer...and then steak, baked potato and salad...YUMM...
tonight is probably going to be grilled cheese and tomato soup...

Jen, maybe you shouldn't read here until your liquid diet is over. (Kidding!)
We kept the teens busy with baling/hauling in hay and treated them to subway. Okay, it was a treat for me not to have to try and fill teenagers that had been working hard all day. Those 5 dollar foot longs came in handy.

Last night was pork chops, sausage/rice casserole and green beans. Tonight Salmon, scalloped potatoes, broccoli & leftover green beans.

After school clothes shopping with two teen girls I helped myself to some liquids and salsa with chips. I earned it.

We had popcorn shrimp bake in the oven, left over mac & cheese, corn.
bstefens, i have never heard of or had elk heart. I am sure it taste like chicken right? lol!

Smoked turkey sausage grilled and served in hot dog buns with sauteed green peppers and onions, squash slices coated in cornmeal and baked, sliced cucumbers & tomatoes from the garden. Chocolate chip cookies for dessert!
