Spicy Grilled Chicken with brown rice and broccoli. For dessert we have lefted over Kitty Litter Cake from our church Halloween Fall Fest...here's the recipe if you have a sense of humor and want to make it next year for Halloween:

Awe Krista.....I hear you...my babies aren't babies either, they will be 11 and 14 this comming year....I have been sad since they hit "double digitts".....:(

Here is a recipe I usually make with leftover chicken, turkey, or ham....

2 cups cooked egg noodles
1 Tbl. chicken bouillon
2 1/2- 3 cups low-fat milk
3 Tbls. flour
2 cups cooked meat ( chicken, turkey, ham)
2 cups frozen veggies, thawed ( I usually use broccoli)
1/2 cup sour cream or plain low-fat yogurt
1 cup shredded cheese ( I usually use cheddar)

Preheat oven to 350. In a saucepan, combine milk, flour, and bouillon, stir until flour is dissolved. Heat over medium heat until mixture thickens slightly.

In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together and place in a greased 2-quart dish and bake for 25-30minutes.

Add more cheese on top or cracker crumbs before baking if desired.

Smoked brisket, baked sweet potatoes and broccoli. My husband then decided we needed dessert so he took some Blue Bell vanilla ice cream and topped it with mini M&Ms, left over from Halloween, and Kahlua. It was kinda good actually.

Friday: delivery pizza (Friday is always pizza night at our house)

Saturday (halloween): picked up BK before trick-o-treating

Sunday: Venison stew over rice w/green beans & crescent rolls.....DELICIOUS!!! we're trying to use up all the venison we have in our deep freezer to make room for the new venison meat that will be here in a few weeks (after hubby returns from hunting in NY)

who knows what's on for tonight...think I'll search this site for something new...any suggestions would be great too!

Last night I wanted quick, easy and delicious! I cooked a recipe I wrote for Spaghetti Casserole. I created it from an old recipe my mom had that was similar! It was so good and so easy! Recipe link is at bottom of post. Enjoy!

I also made my favorite mayo bread! I'm going to try to get that article in soon!

Oh, I'm Linda, I write for examiner.com as a comfort food writer. I'm doing a series on cookie baking right now... don't miss it. I've started it with a review on Wilton's Cookie Exchange book. Check it out! This book blew my mind! It is a must have for hosting cookie exchange parties, decorating cookies and is also great for anyone who decorates anything!

For your claim to fame, please leave in the comments section on one of my cookie series pages, on the Examiner or email to lindatalbott@yahoo.com, your original cookie recipes and your original photos of your cookies to have them included in the cookie series! You will get name and photo credit! ! Hurry, I may only be able to include 20 or 30.

I'd love to hear your favorite products, ingredients, cookbooks and holiday cookies! Or your fav comfort food! Just leave the comments on one of my pages on my main page on Examiner.
