Prepare a box of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese according to pkg. directions. Dice some onion, celery and ham. Stir into Mac & Cheese. Add a can of cream of mushroom soup, place into casserole dish and bake for 30 minutes at 350. My family loves this! You can sprinkle parmesan cheese on top for added flavor, or use bread crumbs or crackers as on any casserole.

I like to add a little diced ham and onion to my New Year's Day black eyed peas.

Have you tried the 15 been soup? It actually calls for ham and you can add as much as you want. Serve with some white rice or egg noodles. My family (1 child and 2 toddlers) love it!!!

There is nothing better than a good old cold ham sandwich.Top with mustard, mayo, pepper rings, cheese, lettuce or whatever you like. You can use any kind of bread, rolls, even wraps, potato rolls are really good with ham. Cold baked ham has excellent flavor and it gives you time to do other things you want to do before the New year begins.

I used my leftover ham yesterday to make a really easy soup that my family all loved. I cubed the ham, and put in in the slow cooker. Then I chopped some onions, cubed some potatoes, and cubed a pound of Velveeta. I added milk, and kept adding more milk as it cooked throughout the day. It was so good! My family told me to make it any time.

there is nothing better or easier than a big pot of pinto beans with ham in it---the ham helps thicken the broth----yum, yum

My mother used to make a side dish when she had leftover ham and rice. She would saute finely chopped onions in butter or olive oil, add chopped ham, leftover cooked rice and finally frozen defrosted peas at the end. Salt and pepper and you got a pretty good side dish.
My husband likes to use ham to make omelets, which he would eat every morning if he could.

HI euphrasyne,
Lucky you to have such a nice spiral ham. Ham is so versatile and there is so much you can do with it including freezing what you don't need right now. Here are just a few ideas: -Baked scalloped potatoes with ham pieces, -Stuffed green peppers using ground ham with rice, tomatoes, cheese, etc. instead of beef. -Baked mac 'n cheese with ham, -A morning egg fritatta or strata using cut up ham pieces, - "Eggs Beatrice" (similar to Eggs Benedict but using ham instead of Canadian bacon and thin sliced dense white bread instead of English muffins. - Ham croquettes - Ham biscuits - Ground ham salad mixed with a bit of sweet relish, slight amount of mayo, hint of sweet mustard for uses on party crackers.
I'm sure you will be able to find many of these and other recipes on the Kraft net and other cooking sites.
If you choose to freeze some of your slices, take as many as you feel you will need for each serving, wrap each serving tightly in plastic wrap and freeze with other serving portions. Date all items you choose to freeze.
Finally, you can also freeze the bone and save it for soup or beans later.
Good luck! I'm sure you will get plenty of other ideas from your friends in the community.

I gave into family pressure and made a sugar glazed ham for christmas dinner. I'm not a big meat eater and I now have 3-4lbs of leftover cooked ham...It is thinly spiral sliced.
Any good recipes for leftover holiday ham?
