I make peanut butter pie this way maybe you'll give it a try!
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter, 4oz cream cheese (softned), 1 cup powered sugar, 1 large container of Cool Whip, 1 (9inch) chocolate crumb pie shell or graham cracker pie shell and peanut butter cups to taste.
With a mixer, cream together peanutbutter, cream cheese, and powered sugar until smooth. Add Cool whip. Chop up peanut butter cups into chunks and spoon mix the butter cups into mixture. Pour into pie crust and freeze for atleast 3hrs. or overnight. Before your ready to serve make sure you let set for a few minutes before serving. You can drizzle chocolate syrup on top and also for a twist instead of peanut butter cups you can use chocolate chips!

But, that bakery recipe has all fresh products in it. Won't it spoil without the additives and preservatives that the packaged stuff in the other recipe contain?

This is very easy and the best I've ever tasted.
Peanut Butter Pie
1 cup 10x sugar 1/4 cup milk 3oz cream cheese 1/3 cup peanut butter 8oz Cool Whip (thawed) 1 graham cracker or choc. cookie crust
Cream together 10x sugar, milk, cream cheese, and peanut butter.
Fold in Cool Whip
Pour into crust and place in freezer.
Remove from freezer 15 minutes before cutting and serving.

This is the best and most certainly the easiest.
1 box vanilla instant pudding 1 small jar creamy pnut butter
follow directions on pudding box. after mixing, add pnut butter and thoroughly mix into pudding. pour into baked crust and cool for several hours.
