Kevin640:

Change is good, but when it's beyond change, it isn't acceptable IMHO.

I haven't tried to "new" dressings, but addressing you, Kevin640, it's not that people can't accept change...they can. It's just when you love the taste of something and count on it to dress up a bed of lettuce (or whatever you intend to use it for), it's a huge disappointment to find out that not only is the taste different, but bad!

Cost reduction or whatever the reason, these Kraft customers are not happy with the products any longer...sure they don't have to buy them, but it stinks because it was something they loved.

Why can't people accept change. They do market research and the like. I work for the food industry and this is not uncommon practice. Sometimes it is for cost reduction or simply for a taste change.;\http://

I emailed them, because I don't think they even read these boards. They emailed me back and are sending a refund. They offered no explanation for the change. Basically they just said "sorry you don't like the new taste"

Not everyone likes the idea of natural flavors. People who are younger or live in the city may like them, but out here, we prefer to keep things the way they were.

Pam has been posting all over today but she hasn't shown the community the respect to even try to answer the question.

We agree...particularly the CATALINA. We now have 3/4 of a bottle to throw away. Have used it for years and years. And my daughter has a whole bottle to toss out. It went from a mild tomato-ey flavor to spicy. NOT everyone appreciates the spice. Anyone know of a secret cache of the original flavored Catalina? We sure would like some. And I find it interesting, too, that Kraft is not responding to this. Maybe they will in time. By bringing back the real thing. We do not like it....Sam I am.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one that Noticed the Change!!! I thought I had a bad bottle and so I bought another.... My kids won't eat it any more... I noticed the New bottles say Dressing and Dip?? Are the ingredients different?? I might have to find another Ranch after all these years...:(

You have my curiosity!!!! I just bought 2 new bottles of Kraft Salad Dressing and all I noticed was a "NEW LOOK" label on the bottle.
What am I missing that you are referring to?

There have to be hundreds of complains on these message boards about the reformulation of their salad dressings.

I just find it funny that no one from Kraft has responded to their customers.

what do you mean by ruined? Do you mean by using natural ingredients? I love the new dressings because of that reason.
