Welcome to the message boards and thank you for your question. Generally, spices are considered proprietary information. Some of the more commonly used spices in our products include turmeric. All ingredients classified as allergens are disclosed on the ingredient line. (There are 8 major allergens listed by the FDA, and by law we have to list them on the ingredient line. Turmeric is not one of them.)
Is there a specific Kraft product that you are interested in? I should be able to find out for you. (Regarding the post that C. Alice linked to, we were able to contact that community member directly to advise them about basil in our salad dressing.) I look forward to hearing back from you!

Sorry, but Kraft's official answer will be that they cannot tell you.

Hi piccplayer, It's good that you got that information, but it's to bad that so many companies only list their seasonings as "spice". Lots of luck finding out.

Turmeric is what gives mustard that nice yellow color. It is also used in Heinz 57 sauce, and hot dog relish, the kind with pickles and mustard. It's an ingredient of curry powder.
Be suspicious of any product that has an orange or yellow color.

It says turmeric is used for color in some butter, cereals, even ice cream.
Like you, I've always wondered just what was in those "spices" listed on some ingredient labels. LOL

One of my family members cannot eat turmeric, as it counteracts her medication. How can I tell if an ingredient listing of "spices" includes turmeric? Are there any guidelines I can follow to make this determination if turmeric is not specifically listed? Thanks.
