I just made the Mint Thins for a Christmas cookie exchange tomorrow night. I made a few extra for my husband and I to try. WOW! are they good. I would have never thought of using Ritz crackers. They will make a nice presentation also with the crushed candy cane on top. I put them in my "Recipe Box" since I will be making these again. Next time I will try the tweezers though.
Kraft foods has some really great recipes on their website. I check it out frequently.

May I suggest that, while we crunble Ritz for just about everything, why don't we llive on the edge here and boil them whole then layer them on the sauce/cheese layers like that. When the layers are completed to perfection, we top with those perfect examples of the world's most versitle snack food breakage..the crumbled ritz. Perfecto!

My family is a bit too picky for this one...who's gonna try it first???

I'm not sure how you would do it. Maybe soak the crackers first to prevent burning.

How would you do that? Do you soak them in hot water first? Do you have to salt the hot water? I'm having a hard time picturing it. ?:|

I'm not sure you need a recipe for that. I would just substitute crubled ritz for noodles.

I made the Mint Thins. Coating the crackers with the chocolate was a hard to do, messy experience. Is there a trick to this? The end results tasted good, though.
