I have made wonderbread bowls in the past. I have heavy nesting mixing bowls. I just line the inside of one of the bowls with slices of wonderbread. It's okay if they overlap a bit. Don't leave spaces! Trim the crusts first. Then put the next size smaller bowl on top. Leave overnight. Cover with plastic wrap if you have dogs or mice.

The next morning viola! Carefully take off the top bowl and you have a wonderbread bowl. It's a bit sticky and doesn't hold its shape well so I leave it in the bigger bowl. It's not very practical but I have made them for the 'wow!' factor.

I would if they made them. We love how wonderbread is so soft and lasts forever.

Hi bailey-bear1,
Welcome to the message boards! Here is a dip in a bread bowl recipe that was featured in the 2007 Food & Family Festive magazine. (See the bread bowl is listed as a variation at the bottom of the recipe.)

Ultimate Queso Dip:

Here is a similar dip that contains bacon:

Cheesy Spinach and Bacon Dip:

You can follow the directions for the bread bowl variation from the Ultimate Queso Dip for this Cheesy Spinach and Bacon Dip recipe.

Enjoy!

Would you put that in a Wonder Bread bowl?

Last year I got a recipe off the Kraft website for a hot bacon-cheese dip that was baked in a bread bowl. I don't see it on the site anymore. Can someone share it with me?
