I noticed at the store that the Ranch Dressing bottle had a new flavor. I thought Oh NO! They probably ruined it. I served it to my family without letting them see that it was from a different bottle. All 6 of us hate it. My youngest daughter won't eat her vegetables anymore. I don't know why so many people think it tastes like Mayo. Best Foods Mayo is yummy. The stuff that came out of that bottle was gross! I think that there is a typo in the spelling of the Kraft name on the bottle the last 2 letters should be p. Spelling it properly would alert consumers to what it really tastes like. I will never buy it again. I will find a new brand or make my own.

I thought I was going crazy because I thought there was no MSG in the ranch and then today I was eating my salad and my eyes almost popped out when I saw it on the back of the bottle and thanks to this message board I see that I am not crazy... I cannot eat msg due to migraines(David Buchholz's "Heal Your Headache" has been a lifesaver)...the last two weeks I have been eating the new dressing and have had headaches and wondering what was going on...now I know.

You know, the reasons the dressing changed is because when they first changed it, they took out the artificial preservatives. (Since America decided they want to be health conscious and act like one serving of something with artificial preservatives would kill you...granted you don't have an allergy to them otherwise maybe it would.) They actually LISTENED to the majority of consumers and took them out. Hence the nasty ranch and catalina dressings. But now people complain that they taste terrible. Well unfortunately, you can't have the best of both worlds.
And now people complain when they put the preservatives back in, in an attempt to "fix" the product...
Make up your minds...

This post doesn't have anything to do with the taste, but the new commercials. I've seen the commercials going to various Hidden Valley cities many times, but it wasn't until yesterday that I realized it was a Kraft Ranch dressing commercial. I thought it was Hidden Valley! In fact, it was so effective at selling Hidden Valley Ranch that I remembered how much I liked it and went out and bought a bottle. I think I'd fire whatever marketing firm you are using!

Please go back to the original recipe.....I use the store brand Ranch Dressing instead....I still like other Kraft products...but don't care for the taste of the new Kraft Ranch Dressing.

I agree with everyone about the MSG needing to come out!!! My future sister-in-law is highly allergic to MSG and Kraft Ranch Dressing is the only one on the market which did NOT contain MSG. The allergy will put her in the hospital if she does eat anything with MSG. She can no longer eat Ranch dressing or many of the foods, dips, and sauces which use Ranch dressing because of Kraft's decision. Please reconsider taking the MSG back out of the dressing and going back to the way it was!!!

Thanks but No thanks for the "new" Ranch dressing (yellow "New Delicious Taste" label). You put MSG back in YUCK!!
Why did you put the unhealthy "monosodium glutamate" MSG back in the ranch dressing????
Take out the "monosodium glutamate" MSG!!!
YUCK!!!!

Dennis, does the "new" ranch taste like the original ranch? Or is it like "new" Coke going back to Coke Classic and not tasting like the original Coke?

I want the natural Ranch! I do not eat "monosodium glutamate" MSG They put it back in. I do not buy anything with MSG and I am glad that they took it out. Now I went to the grocery store and It said "Great new flavor" I look at the ingredents and there again was "monosodium glutamate" Yuck. On the bottle it still stays "No artificial preservatives" Well it is a lie!! You can't say that when you put MSG. By the way people complaining about their ranch they do make the MSG version before you complained. No they do not. Thanks to you complainers. I bought the rest of the non-MSG ranches they had. I guess after these bottles I will be ranch free life because no one else no carries non-MSG ranch. I am very disappointed in Kraft and their decision to put MSG back in.

What happened? Kraft had the best Ranch dressing and now it is disgusting! I bought a bottle of Racnh and Cucumber Ranch and they both taste OLD! YUCK! I hope they realize that the consumers hate it and change it back! I guess I have to start looking for a new brand of dressing! :o(

Wow, that's a lot of ranch. Do you bathe in it?

I am glad to see all these reviews on the new flavor of kraft dressing. Why change a good thing I loved the the dressing the way it was. I have bought nothing but kraft Ranch dressing forever. A little while back opened a new bottle my daughter asked what was wrong with the dressing I then tasted it was awful tasted like mayo, opened another it tasted the same started checking dates none of the 6 bottles I had in pantry were outdated. Even my 4 year old grandson said yuk. I threw all out except 2 bottles returned those to store, and now I refuse to buy the kraft dressing even if the store was giving it away. My daughter and I are now replacing with Hidden Valley.
