I'm glad I'm not the only one who is frustrated about not finding Postum on the shelves anymore. I went to 6 different stores looking for Postum. I didn't know they had discontinued making it. I have been drinking Postum for over 30 years. I love the flavor of Postum. When I'm stressed out, a cup of Postum helps to calm me down. If I had the money, I'd buy it on Ebay -- but I'm having a hard time putting gas in my car right now. Kraft should at least make it possible to buy Postum on-line. PLEASE BRING BACK POSTUM!!!

What is going on? I have been drinking POSTUM for years and not because of religion but because I can't tolerate caffeine and I can't tolerate the chemicals used to make decaf coffee. I love Postum and I want it back. I can't believe no notice or anything was to be found that they were discontinuing it. I can't afford $35.00 to buy Postum on Ebay. You need to bring it back as it also helps me with my severe constipation problem as well. I have nothing else natural that will help me with that. Why is it something healthy I love always bites the dust? BRING IT BACK PLEASE!!!!!!!

One of the moderators posted this on another thread:
"From the Contact Us Page:
We appreciate consumer feedback. Click here to send us an e-mail.
If you require immediate assistance or would like to speak to a representative from Kraft Foods, please call us at 1-877-535-5666."
Contacting Kraft directly may be more effective than posting here. Maybe an email campaign, or flood them with phone messages!

To: Everyone I grew up with my Grandma, my Aunt Josie and my mom , who had a stroke when I was 5. My Grandma and Aunt started me drinking Postum. I've always had a jar of Postum in my kitchen from the time I was at home with them until last week. I went to the store and couldn't find it. My husbad went on line and found out they discontinued it this year. No advance knowledge. I've tried every store in my area. I figured this might happen some day. No advertising has been done for Postum in years. Why now? I don't drink it because of my religion. I drink it because it tastes good and I feel closer to those that are gone. My grandma died when I was in the 2nd grade. She was 79 years old. My Aunt Josie died in 2002 at the age of 99. My mom died the year before in 2001 at 79 years old. I love remembering when I was a kid having breakfast with my Grandma. She also tought me to eat horseradish and ketchup on fried eggs. Postum is so good on a cold fall day. I shared Postum with my Granddaughter just last month. She's 2. She liked it. That's how it gets pasted around, from generation to generation.
I have been so upset since I found out it's been discontinued. I want it back. i want someone to bring it back. I want to be on a list to bring it back. I want to buy as much as I can to last the rest of my life. I called my son in New Mexico and asked him to look at their stores. I told my husband that I bet you could find it in places like Palm Springs where old folks live. I thought I had seen it while on vacation there eariler this year.
Someone please HELP. (Please post this on the site in case I didn't send this in the right way., You know how it is for us old folks and new technology.) I'm 54 years old.

WE WANT POSTUM!!
For everyone one person who writes in, at least 20+ others would like to. I know of 27 other people who MISS Postum as much as I do. We all grew up with it; our parents and grandparents enjoyed it as well. I agree with another poster on this board ... if demand was so low to prompt you to pull it from the shelves, WHY NOT ADVERTISE!? Sheesh. Hello? Advertising does wonders for other Kraft products ...
Sure, it's not going to beat out "mass market coffee houses", but that's not the point ... or is it?
Your consumers OBVIOUSLY want Postum back on store shelves ... SOONER rather than later! Fall is setting in! Why should we give our money to another product that is not and cannot ever replace Postum for quality and taste ... (and memories!)
PLEASE BRING BACK POSTUM THIS YEAR! Thanks!

I agree, after reading through, I would like to try it, too.

Obviously, from reading this thread, it is something to be missed! I had never heard of it either, but after hearing so much about it here, I would definitely try it if they put it on the market again. You have piqued my curiosity!

My family (including at least 6 homesteads) cannot believe Kraft Foods has discontinued POSTUM!!! We are devastated!!! I agree with others, that if this company doesn't want to provide this product for its many consumers, than sell the "recipe" to a company that will. WE WANT POSTUM WE WANT POSTUM WE WANT POSTUM
P.S. I KNOW a lot more people would voice their opinion of wanting Postum back, if they could figure out how to do it. This was not a simple procedure!!
