If you are using Celsius - GET OUT OF THE POOL - it's boiling!
But if you are talking about Farenheit (the temperature) then use dough-nuts  — they don't melt until 150 degrees (Africa).

I don't make many bar cookies, but I would think almost anything like that would do nicely. Brownies would work. What about a fruit pizza? You know, use a sugar cookie crust and layer it with fruits before baking. Maybe with an apricot jelly glaze... Or little plastic cups of fresh fruit?
Can you tell I've been pushing my kids to eat more fruit and fewer sweets?

non-melting desserts

Posted: Jul 14, 2009 8:53 AM
I am hosting a neighborhood pool party and am looking for a finger dessert that won't melt in 100+ degree temperatures. I was hoping to find bar cookie recipes that I can leave out and not worry that they will become a mess before they can be enjoyed.
Thanks for your help.
