Is Wisconsin the furthest place on earth from Italy?

If you’d like to know where a Kraft product was manufactured, simply look on the package. If the cheese was manufactured in a country other than the United States, the label will say “Product of (whichever country it’s from).” Otherwise, you can trust the entire product was made in the US. Unfortunately I can’t tell you what state your particular cheese was made in since we have numerous facilities throughout the states. I hope this is helpful – please call us at 1-800-572-3820 if you have more questions!

I Googled "mozzarella cheese, itally, toxic" and came up with articles dated from March to June of 2008. Most said that the contamination was from illegal dumping of chemicals and the problem was isolated to a few farms, contained and is no longer an issue. Not sure where Kraft's cheese factories are but am thinking they are not in Italy.

Toxic Mozzarella Cheese

I have read a number of places that I should not buy mozzarella cheese from Italy. I looked on a Kraft package and could not determine the country of origin. I want to buy Wisconsin made mozzarella cheese. Is that where the Kraft Mozzarella cheese in NC grocery stores comes from?
